Condolence From: Dave Hoffman
Condolence: Fern and family

A great man that will be missed by all. Another Pillsbury Dough Boy passes on.

Remember growing up and he being so encouraging with my music career. Because of him, I'm who I am in this musical world of ours.

Take Care

Condolence: My heart is heavy. Uncle Sonny was the kind of person we should all try to emulate. A truly great human being. He taught me at a very early age how a good husband, father and Uncle should treat his family....an example to all. My heartfelt condolences to all who loved him.

Condolence: Hard to believe that Willie will no longer be greeting me with his trademark “how ‘ya doin’ !?!” I have been fortunate to participate in many different musical groups including a number of excellent drum corps and have played, marched and taught with fine and famous people. Willie stands apart, the consummate example of quiet leadership , always upbeat, positive and willing to do whatever needed to be done. He will be missed.

Condolence From: Robert Pawling
Condolence: I am sorry that Willie will no longer be here to greet us with his upbeat, enthusiastic smile. I really did not know him as well as many others did, but when we would cross paths at a parade, he always made me feel as if I were a long lost friend, whom he hadn't seen for years. Willie had a genuine warmth and love for others that was contagious. He gave sacrificially of himself to others and thought the gift well given. I will miss him. I pray God will comfort you through some of the difficult times ahead when the reality of his absence sets in. Here are some scriptures that have encouraged me: John 11:23--26, I Cor. 15:16-23, II Cor. 5:1-8, and I Thess. 4:13-18, I hope they will bless you too. Grace and peace to you,
Bob Pawling

Condolence: Fern and Family,
My heart is so heavy to learn of Willie's passing. He was such a wonderful mentor and friend to Eric. Their brotherhood lead to all of us becoming friends, and being able to share many fond memories over the years. You both gave my family such peace and genuine love as we grieved Eric's loss, something which my children and I will always cherish.
I will always hold dear the memories of the happy times we all had at dinners, lodge events and the wonderful stories you and Willie shared about your adventures in llife. Eric and I grew to have great respect and fondness for you both.
God has welcomed a wonderful angel into heaven, and may you find peace and love in the coming days as you celebrate his life and morn his loss.
Ben, Lindsey and I will keep you in our hearts and prayers.
With Sincere Sympathy,
Nancy, Ben and Lindsey Thompson
