To all the Vinter family, Growing up in an 18th century family could never have been complete with out George Vinter Sr. Many of my most cherished memories are sitting under his tent, enjoying a round of checkers. George brought so much life to the hobby, and it was so easy it gravitate towards his good nature. He had this smile that beamed so bright, a twinkle I will never forget. Hearing of his passing has brought many tears to my eyes, but I find comfort in knowing he is with his beloved, Joyce. She was his true love and both of them were the best adopted Aunt and Uncle a girl could ask for.
