Obituary for Franklin D. Kilby Jr.

Franklin D. Kilby Jr.
Franklin D. Kilby, Jr., 60, of Parkesburg, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Jefferson University Hospital after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis and other medical issues as a result of his service to his Country. He was the loving, caring and wonderful husband of Sandra L. (Koffel) Kilby.

Born in Elkton, MD, he was a son of the late Franklin D. Kilby, Sr.
Franklin proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from the military in 1995 as a Master Sergeant after 23 years of faithful service.

He loved music, sports cars, the beach and talking football with his brother-in-law, Mike, who he will now be with in Heaven.

Surviving along with his wife of 12 years are brothers, Lee Kevin and Kenny Kilby; sister, Karen Davis; father-in-law and mother-in – law, Donald and Judith Hacker; four sisters-in-law, Colleen Hacker, Deborah Gaugler, Barbara Steinhauser and Elizabeth Koffel; three brothers-in-law, Chad Hacker and Douglas and Philip Koffel; three nieces, Tiphanie Dymond, Ashley Quintana and Kylie Cozart; two nephews, Dereck Hacker and Chad Hacker, Jr; and two great-nieces, Adelynn Cozart and Anna Quintana.

Sandra wants everyone to know that she was honored to be Frank’s wife. He always made her feel special and he will be her one and only love forever.

A viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041.
