Obituary for Frieda E. Schlectic (Karow)

Frieda E.  Schlectic (Karow)
Frieda E. (Karow) Schlectic, 95, widow of John Schlectic, formerly of Pennsburg, went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Souderton Mennonite Home.

Born in Perkiomenville, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Johanna (Radtke) Karow.

Frieda was a painter for Franklin Tile in Lansdale for many years and was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown where she was a member of Altar Guild.

She loved to dance and play the piano and accordion.

Surviving are a sister Vivian Sciacca of Lansdale and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by brothers, William and Charles and sisters, Johanna, Evelyn, Anne, and Clara.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3104 Main Street, Green Lane, PA 18084 with Rev. Rebecca Schanely officiating. Burial will follow in Frieden’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church.
