Obituary for Frances V. Lachman (Ritter)
Frances Viola (Ritter) Lachman, 101, widow of Roger Lachman, of East Greenville, passed away, Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Slate Belt Health Center in Bangor, PA.
Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel P. and Ella (Voortman) Ritter.
After graduating from Bethlehem Business College, she was employed at Garnet Chemical Corporation as an office manager for 50 years until her retirement in 1991 at the age of 76.
She was a lifelong member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville and a member of the Upper Perkiomen Business and Profession Women’s Club.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her sisters, Edna Raub, Mildred Hoffman and Betty Joella.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ Cemetery, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Cydney Van Dyke officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA.
