Helene D. (Dean) Faul, 100, of Pottstown, passed away October 4, 2016 at Sanatoga Court, Pottstown, PA.

She was born July 3, 1916 in Alburn Four Corners, PA to the late James E. and Mable (Tewksbury) Dean. She was married to the late John Paul Overholtzer and the late Jerome Faul.

She was raised in the Kulpsville area and resided in California, Chicago and the Lansdale/Harleysville area.

She worked as a seamer at Interstate Hosiery in Lansdale, Zenith, Philco and Trotters Pretzels in Lansdale where she retired at 75. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Lansdale.
Helene loved gardening, cooking, baking, sewing and quilting with her friends at the East Greenville Senior Center.

Helene is survived by her children, John P. Overholtzer, Jr, husband of Georgia C.of Bechtelsville and Paulene M., wife of Charles K. Orner of Bechtelsville; grandchildren, C. Kenneth Orner, Sherry Lynn Poinsett, Bonnie J. Croll and Kimberly A. Wise and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she is predeceased by her siblings, Frank E. Dean, Carl E. Dean and Evelyn Warren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 10, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Lansdale, 700 North Broad Street, Lansdale, PA, with Assistant Pastor Christopher Hamilton officiating. Burial follows at White Marsh Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church before the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Offer sympathy to the family on our website at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
