Shirley M.  Dyas (Adam)
Shirley M. (Adam) Dyas, 83, widow of Ralph A. Dyas, of Pennsburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Mabel (Yenser) Adam.

Shirley worked for 25 years as a Sewing Machine Operator for the former Rosenau Brothers before retiring in 1985.

She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pennsburg, the Golden Agers and the Senior Citizen Center in East Greenville. Shirley loved flowers and gardening.

Surviving are two sons, Robert L. Dyas and his wife, Diane of Tavares, FL and Martin L. Dyas and his wife, Corinne of Gilbertsville; two sisters, Arlene Oswald of Mertztown and Dorothy Reigner and her husband, John of Alburtis; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one on the way; one great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by five siblings, Pearl Fels, Eva Smith, Lester, George, and Russell Adam.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with the Rev. Charles Romanowski officiating. Burial will be at 10 am on Wednesday June 8, 2016 at St. Mark’s Cemetery in Pennsburg. There will be a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
