Jeannette L.  Harwick (Heimbach)
Jeannette L. (Heimbach) Harwick, 82, wife of the late Stanley R. Harwick, of Alburtis, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at home.

Born in East Greenville, she was a daughter the late Raymond and Glenna (Christman) Heimbach.

Jeannette was a graduate of East Greenville High School.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Pennsburg.

Jeannette was known as an outdoor enthusiast; she loved gardening and taking care of her lawn. She enjoyed spending time with her family and to her children she was known as a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Jeannette will be sadly missed by her five children, Charisse L. Harwick of Alburtis; Kent L. Harwick and wife, Deborah of Boyertown; Chris T. Harwick and wife, Mary of Barto; Stacy A. Whalen and husband, Michael of Bechtelsville and Greg S. Harwick of Bethlehem; five siblings, Raymond Heimbach and wife, Joan of Zionsville; Lorraine Lamberton of Phoenix, AZ; Dorothy Hemmerle of Emmaus; Gordon Heimbach and Larry Heimbach, both of East Greenville; eight grandchildren, Troy, Damian, Aleka, Cassandra, Jared, Kaleb, Jason and Sean; two great-granddaughters, Abigail and Penelope. She was predeceased by three sisters, Frances Gendebien, Joyce Whiteford and Myrtle Pirnik.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Dr. Barry L. Moyer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hill, PA. There will be a viewing on Thursday evening from 6 pm until 7:30 pm at the funeral home and on Friday, from Noon until 1 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
