Doris Jean  Masemore (Freed)
Doris J. (Freed) Masemore, 87, wife of Clyde J. Masemore, of Barto, PA, passed away on Sunday February 7, 2016 at home.

Born in Red Hill, PA, she was a daughter of the late James and Ella (Brey) Freed.

Doris was a 1946 graduate of East Greenville High School, where she and her twin sister, Dorothy were Majorettes for the school band and a member of Palm Schwenkfelder Church in Palm.

Doris was an avid Phillies fan, loved playing cards, completing jigsaw puzzles and going on road adventures.

She was known for her ice tea, pretzels and potato chips.

Doris was a hard worker, working full time as a Hand Cutter for over 20 years before retiring from Knoll, Inc. in East Greenville, PA; raising four children and keeping an extremely clean household. She was extremely kind and loving and would help anyone that was in need.

Doris will be sadly missed by her husband of 65 years, their four children, Sherry, wife of William Kile of Barto; Blaine Masemore, husband of Sharon of Bethlehem; Wendy, wife of Richard Chamberlain of Hatfield; and Keith Masemore, husband of Margaret of Barto; one sister, Betty Rader of Quakertown; 11 grandchildren, Jarrod, Adam, Ryan, Lauren, William, Kelly, Benjamin, Jacob, Maria, Louisa and Peter; and 6 great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kalie, Isaiah, Caleb, Ember and Alyssa. She was predeceased by 9 siblings, Earl, Lloyd, James, Roy, Harold, Russell and Clarence Freed, Viola Godshall and her twin, Dorothy Swartley.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with the Rev. Nicholas Pence officiating. Burial will be held in Bethany E.C. Church Cemetery in Barto. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 5 pm to 6:30 pm on Sunday, February 14, 2016 and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
