Obituary for Miriam L. Strawbridge (Heath)
Miriam Louise (Heath) Strawbridge, 96 widow of William H. Strawbridge, of Harleysville, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Life Quest Nursing Center.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Miriam Mae (Hallman) Heath.
Miriam was a graduate of Allentown High School and worked as an Executive Secretary for 27 years before retiring from William Allen High School.
She was a member of the Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Schwenksville.
Miriam loved to read and enjoyed learning and reading about England.
Surviving is a son, Drew P. Strawbridge and his wife, Monica of Schwenksville, PA; granddaughter, Rebecca Strawbridge; niece, Penny, wife of Andrew Wiesner of Cape Girardeau, MO and a nephew, David Ranck of Florida. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a sister, Betty Ranck.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Daniel Schaefer Officiating. There will be a viewing 9:30 to 10:30 am on Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown, PA. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
