Obituary for Janet I. Woods (Ferguson)
Janet I. (Ferguson) Woods, 95, widow of Walter E. Woods, of Perkiomenville, passed away on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at Grand View Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Harry J. and Janet W. (Watson) Ferguson.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown.
Janet loved jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, reading, and gardening.
Surviving are three sons, Walter E. Woods, Jr. and wife, Anna Maria of Scott Run, PA; David G. Woods and wife, Christine of Vero Beach, FL and Daniel A. Woods and wife, Amanda of Gilbertsville; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers.
A private graveside service was held at Frieden’s Union Cemetery in Sumneytown. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
