Thomas D. "Tom"  Paul Jr.
Thomas D. “Tom” Paul, Jr., 53, husband of Donna M. (Smith) Paul, of Red Hill, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015, in his home.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Diana B. (Paradise) Paul of Philadelphia and the Late Thomas D. Paul.

He was the Vice President of Door Sales at J & J Material and Handling in Mt. Joy, PA for the past 13 years and also was President of the Red Hill Borough Council.

Tom was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and was very active in the community. He coached football for both Upper Perkiomen and Boyertown High Schools, as well as in the Pop Warner Football League in Quakertown. He was a baseball coach for the Upper Perkiomen Valley Youth Baseball League and a basketball coach for the C.Y.O. in Pennsburg.

Tom was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia where in 2014 he was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame. He also received his Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Pennsylvania, and was a member of the Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

Surviving along with his wife and mother, are four children, Aimee Horchak and husband, Roy of Barto and Alyssa Paul, Thomas D. Paul III, and Michael Paul all of Red Hill; two brothers, Stephen Paul and wife, Kathy of Philadelphia and Bryan Paul and wife, Katie of New York; and a granddaughter, Claire Horchak.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Burial follows in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening, May 6, at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 and also from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the church prior to the funeral mass.
