Obituary for William D. Trumbauer
William D. Trumbauer, 74, husband of Alverda L. (Hagenbuch) Trumbauer, of Palm, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Pennsburg Manor.
Born in Green Lane, he was a son of the late Clayton and Emma (Erb) Trumbauer.
He worked as a Grinder for Cook’s Specialty of Green Lane for over 20 years before retiring.
William loved bowling, camping in Boulder Woods and collecting coins.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 56 years are two children; William Trumbauer of Palm and Donna, wife of Joey Swartley of Quakertown; one sister, Ann Prevette of Red Hill; 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, Stuart, Ernest and Richard Trumbauer.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, with Rev. Charles Romanowski officiating. There will be a viewing from 10 am until 11 am Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be private. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
