Obituary for Erma F. Knisley (Bardman)

Erma F. (Bardman) Knisley, 95, wife of the late Charles C. Knisley, of Green Lane, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014, at Life Quest Nursing Center in Quakertown.

Born in Green Lane, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Mary F. (Frederick) Bardman.

Erma was a homemaker and loved to cook and play Bingo.

Surviving is her daughter, Phyllis E. Zepp of Green Lane; a brother, Carl Bardman and wife, Marion of Green Lane; three grandchildren, Michael J. Zepp, Mark J. Zepp, and Kathy D. Zepp; nine great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Michael and Philip; eight brothers, Henry, Ralph, James, Abner, Roger, Paul, Arnold, and Ira; and five sisters, Florence Markley, Mary Saville, Gladys Rauch, Miriam Kline, and Grace Sutton.

Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. A private burial will be held at Frieden’s Union Cemetery, Sumneytown.
