William Scott Geiger, 49, husband of Mary H. (Lucas) Geiger of Boyertown, died on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Sanatoga Center. He celebrated 19 years of Marriage on June 6,2012.
Born in Lebanon, PA, he was the son of Faith M. (Nunan) Geiger of Perkiomenville and the late Russell R. Geiger.
Scott worked at the produce stand in Zern’s Market.
He was a 1982 graduate of Boyertown High School.
Scott was volunteer fireman at Siesholtzville Fire Company, Station # 39 and formerly at Schwenksville Fire Company, Station # 73. He attended Trinity E.C. Church, Boyertown. Scott was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was a fan of the Flyers, Phillies, Eagles and Nascar. Scott attended Twin Pines Camp in his youth.
Surviving along with his wife and mother is one sister Patricia Ellen “Nell” Smoyer, of Golden Valley, AZ and one nephew Zachary Geiger.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Christ E.C. Church, 1132 N. Gravel Pike (Rt. 29), Zieglerville, PA 19492. Officiating will be Reverend Marlin Miller. There will be a visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Thursday at the church. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Baldy Hill Bible and Tract Society, “Hurricane Relief”, P.O. Box 30, Topton, PA 19562 or to a charity of your choice to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
