William H. Endy, Jr., 90, widower of Aneloi F. (Fontenot) Endy, of Lone Pine Road, Barto died Thursday, January 26, 2012 in Manatawny Manor.
Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Arralla (Schaffer) and William H. Endy, Sr.
He was a Certified Public Accountant and was self-employed for over 50 years.
He was a veteran of the US Army serving during World War II in the Caribbean.
Bill was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Niantic and Blazing Star Lodge #212 F&AM, the Patriotic Order of the Sons of America in Eagleville and the American Legion.
Surviving are a son, William L. Endy of Falls Church, Virginia; a daughter, Ellen E., wife of Ralph H. Roberts of Barto; three grandchildren, Clarke B. Endy of Richmond, Virginia, William H. Roberts and Leigh Ann Roberts, both of Barto. Along with his wife and parents, he is predeceased by four brothers, Robert, Warren, Clayton and Melvin and three sisters, Helen R. Kramer, Grace L. Endy and Katherine M. Righter.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Susan Lynch officiating. Interment follows in Christ Union Cemetery, Niantic. Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
