William D. “Bill” Clement, III, 76, of Pennsburg, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Doylestown Hospital. He was the loving husband and best friend of Mary A. (Strzelecki) Clement, sharing 38 wonderful years of marriage together.
Born in Sellersville, he was the son of the late William D. and Dorothy J. (Rambo) Clement, Jr.
William was a veteran of the United States Army and worked in the research department at Merck & Co. for 35 years before retiring in 2005. He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sumneytown.
Bill was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed his time spent in Canada fishing and hunting in Bradford County with his friends. He even took hunting trips to Montana and Idaho. Above all of this, he was a great family man and his most precious time spent was with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving along with his wife are his four children, Paula Duka and husband, Michael of Pennsburg, Stephanie Hubert and husband, Michael of Emmaus, Kira Chrysczanavicz of Pennsburg, and William D. Clement, IV of Pennsburg; eight grandchildren, Nichole Adams, Tyler Yerger, Rachel Wheatley, and Aiden, Alana, Arielle, Anjolie, and Anderson Chrysczanavicz; five great-grandchildren, Rylind, Carter, Kaylie, Christian and James; and two nieces, Jennifer and Kristin Clement. He was predeceased by a brother, Terry Clement.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA. Due to CDC guidelines, services will be private following the visitation. All those attending are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing in the funeral home.
