Warren D. Moyer, 91, widower of Gretna (Moyer) Moyer, formerly of the Upper Perkiomen Valley, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Madison Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Port Richey, Florida.
He was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the U.S.S. Quincy.
He was a self-employed Painter in the Upper Perkiomen Valley all his life before retiring in 1975 and taking residence in Florida. He was a member of Frieden’s United Church of Christ, Sumneytown.
Surviving are sons, Warren D. “Danny” Moyer, Jr. and wife Renea of Perkasie, Carl and wife Jackie of Macungie and Ronald of East Greenville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur and a daughter, Linda.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Frieden’s Union Cemetery, Sumneytown, PA.
Arrangements are by Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
