Vincentine T. (Ascolese) Diascro, 90, widow of Dominick D. Diascro, formerly of Red Hill Villas and Philadelphia, died on June 14, 2011 at The Birches at Arbour Square in Harleysville.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania she was a daughter of the late Donato and Maria (Leone) Ascolese.
She was a homemaker and member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. She enjoyed her family and music and reading.
Surviving are five children, Thomas J. Diascro and his wife, Faith of Red Hill, Stephen C. Diascro and his wife, Debbie of Winter Haven, FL, James M Diascro and his wife, Susan of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Dominic D. Diascro, Jr. and wife, Adell of Trooper and Regina E, wife of Floyd McCurdy of Westminster, MD; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by brothers, Carmen and Samuel Ascolese, sisters, Anna Brindisi and Emma Paul and a granddaughter, Maria Diascro.
A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2011 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Interment follows in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia with Rev. James Cox officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday in the church.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Philip Neri Building Fund.
