Thomas A. Dzurenda, 80, husband of Beatrice F. (Bauman) Dzurenda, formerly of Pennsburg died June 17, 2011 at The Peter Becker Community in Harleysville.
Born in Oneida, PA he was a son of the late August and Johanna (Rusnock) Dzurenda.
He worked for 40 years as a Plastics Lab Supervisor for Occidental Chemical Company, formerly known as Firestone Plastics, retiring in 1994.
He was member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
Surviving along with his wife are two children, Diane M. Leister of Souderton and Robert A. Dzurenda and wife, Carol of Quakertown; three brothers, Michael Dzurenda and wife, Betty of Victoria, TX, Joseph Dzurenda and wife, Ann of Haddenfield, NJ and John Dzurenda and wife, Mary Jane of Pennsburg and a grandson, Robert Dzurenda and wife, Dotty of Pennsburg. He was preceded in death by his mother, Johanna Dzurenda and father, August Dzurenda; a sister, Mary (Dzurenda) Garis; and three infant brothers, August, John and George.
A memorial mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Interment follows in Holy Cross Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at church.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the church.
