Terry Schultz

August 14, 1944 — December 2, 2022

Terry Lee Schultz of Macungie, PA passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the age of 78.

Born in Hereford, PA, he was the son of the late Melvin C. and Dorothy A. (Berger) Schultz. He was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School, Class of 1962.

Terry was a United States Army veteran of the war in Vietnam. For over 40 years before retiring, he was an IBEW Union member and a qualified high voltage cable splicer. He was also a member of the Lehigh Lodge #326 Northern Masonic Jurisdiction Scottish Rite, Shriners International and the Reading Company Technical and Historical Society. His hobbies included flying, hunting, fishing, collecting model trains and exploring coal regions of Pennsylvania.

Surviving are his companion Joy Benfield; three brothers, Gary Schultz and wife, Judith, Melvin Schultz, Jr. and Jeffrey Schultz; and nieces, Amy Skena and Amanda Olson and nephew, Andrew Schultz. He is predeceased by his sister, Jean Haas and nephew, Brian Derr.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. Family and friends may attend a viewing from 10 to 10:45 AM prior to the service. Terry will be buried privately at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
