Stephen Grayeske

April 16, 1953 — March 10, 2021

Stephen M. Grayeske, 67, of Upper Hanover Twp., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his home. He was the husband of Elizabeth A. (Lyons) Grayeske.

He was born in Philadelphia to the late Frank and Elizabeth C. (Kaminsky) Grayeske. He was a 1971 graduate Cardinal Dougherty High School. Steve spent his working years as a refrigeration mechanic for Acme Markets. In retirement, he owned and operated a small landscaping business in the area helping friends and locals with his love of flowers and gardening.

He was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church, Pennsburg, PA. He was also a member of Friends of Bill and Friends of Dr. B., and a lifemember of the NRA. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and camping trips with family.

In addition to his Betty, his wife of 45 years, he is survived by his children: Tina Grayeske; Joseph Grayeseke and his wife Kathleen; Siblings: Liz, wife of the late Bob Breland, Mary Grayeske and Joseph V. Grayeske; grandchildren: Lynn and Sophia Grayeske; nieces: Becky, wife of Abe Barrera; Kay Achenbach wife of Gordon Cameron and nephew, Philip, husband of Megan Grayeske; brother-in-law, Rev. Timothy Lyons C.M., Sisters-in-law: Christine, wife of Gary Medlin and Dorothy Lyons. He was also predeceased by a sister, Trudy Grayeske.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Philip Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA 18073. Mass will be livestreamed on St. Philip Neri’s Facebook Page. Officiating will be Rev. Anthony Hangholt. Visitation will be from 9-11 AM. Those in attendance are asked to follow social distancing and masking guidance. Burial will be private.
