Stella Marie (Krauss) Walker, 88, widow of Howard L. Walker of Pennsburg, died on Friday in her residence.
Born in Kraussdale, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and Stella (Bitting) Krauss.
She worked as a sewing machine operator for Perkiomen Clothing in Red Hill retiring at the age of 62.
She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Sumneytown where she loved singing in the church choir and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.
Survivors: A daughter, Elaine M. (Walker) Jabs and husband, Jack A., of East Greenville; two grandsons, Scott Jabs, of Barto, and Steven Jabs, of Pennsburg; four great grandchildren, Keith, Kevin, Bryanna, and Maison; and many nieces; and nephews. She was predeceased by seven brothers; and four sisters.
Services: 12 noon, Tuesday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville with Rev. Charles H. Eiss, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Friedens Union Cemetery, Sumneytown. A viewing will be held one hour prior in the funeral home.
