Stanley S. “Sonny” Kokoszka, 77, of Palm, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the loving husband of Catherine A. (Pahula) Kokoszka, celebrating 54 years of marriage this past April 20th.
Born in Chester, PA, he was a son to the late Stanley L. and Barbara (Letnainczyn) Kokoszka.
A veteran, he served in the Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis and served on the USS Wasp Aircraft Carrier for four years.
After being honorably discharged, he worked multiple jobs, the longest being for IPT in Limerick as an Eastern Operations Manager for over 20 years until his retirement. He was also a Scout Master for Troop 86.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Stanley S. Kokoszka and wife, Diane of Palm; two grandsons, Stanley and wife, Jessica and Stephen and life partner, Vanessa; four great-grandchildren, Evie, Nathan, Sadie and Henry; his brother, Stephen Kokoszka and wife, Katherine of Chester and his sister, Susan Kokoszka also of Chester.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
