Stanley S. “Stosh” Bitting, 61, of East Greenville, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.
Born in Quakertown, PA, he was a son of the late Paul and Mamie (Trexler) Bitting.
He was a 1971 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and worked as a union bricklayer for the past 40 years. He was an avid Corvette and motorcycle enthusiast, recently winning a Blue Ribbon in a car show.
He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his siblings, Lois E. Fenstermacher of Kutztown, Leon H. Bitting of Lansdale and Lucille, wife of Pete Melcher of Florida. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Kenneth.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with the Rev. Charles E. Romanowski officiating. Burial follows in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
