Shirley W. (Wilson) Preston, 94, widow of Robert K. Preston, of Perkiomenville, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
Born in Washington, D.C., she was a daughter of the late Edward J. and Marie (Riddle) Wilson.
Shirley was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and was active in the Garden Club in New Port Ritchie, Florida and the Questers in Pennsburg, PA.
Surviving are her children, Michael Preston of Virginia, Sherrie, wife of Edward Schoen of Perkiomenville, Stephen Preston and wife, Laura of Earleville, MD, Joe Preston and wife, Melanie of Pittstown, NJ, Andy Preston and his wife, Denise of Upper Black Eddy and Sheila Preston of East Stroudsburg; 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a son, Peter G. Preston on December 16, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11 a.m. until 12 noon prior to the service.
Cremation services are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Sympathy may be extended to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
