Shirley D. (DiBiaso) Kulp, 77, of Pennsburg, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Gordon R. Kulp Sr., and they had celebrated 59 years of marriage this past May.
Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Charles DiBiaso and Ruth (Millard) Eckert.
She worked as a secretary for many years at Perkiomen Clothing, and was a longtime member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
She was a part of the first graduating class at Upper Perkiomen High School and enjoyed her monthly luncheons with the Lady Bulldogs. Her hobbies included playing bingo and making memory books for her grandchildren. In the past, she enjoyed the band boosters, bus trips to the casinos, and bowling. She was also an avid Dallas Cowboy, Nascar, and Penn State fan. She loved Sheltie dogs, especially her dog Abby.
Surviving along with her husband, are five children; Karen, wife of Bob Gehringer of Red Hill, Debbie Karom of Red Hill, Janet, wife of Stan Swiecicki of Fleetwood, Cindy, wife of Mark Katzmann of Pennsburg and Gordon R. Kulp, Jr. and wife Stacy of Gilbertsville; half-sister, Joanne Kropf of Allentown; 10 grandchildren, Marci, Bobby, Scott, Chip, Kristopher, Lindsey, Kristin, Julia, Alyssa and Matt and 6 great grandchildren, Nick, Trent, Tahner, Mikey, Max and Olivia.
