Sally E. (Dennis) Heeley age 69 of Quakertown, PA peacefully passed away at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday Nov. 9,2019
Sally was born in Mahanoy City, PA on June 21, 1950 the eldest daughter of George and Elizabeth Dennis. The family then moved to East Greenville where she spent her very happy childhood.
Sally attended Upper Perkiomen High School, class of 1968. Following her graduation she proudly attended Allentown School of Nursing. She began her career at Allentown General Hospital and eventually became the charge nurse for both the Renal unit followed by the Mother and baby unit of their Birthing Center.
Following retirement from her illustrious nursing career Sally happily retired to her home in Quakertown ,PA where she enjoyed life being surrounded by loving family, extended family and many loving friends.
Most importantly Sally is remembered and will always be remembered as a blessed, funny, loving, compassionate and kind human being. Also a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, sister, family matriarch and wonderful to friend to all.
Sally is survived by her daughter Megan Heeley Helsley, her son in law Travis Helsley, her grandson Will Dennis Helsley. her sister Robin Dennis and former husband Michael Heeley, extended family and many loving friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Psoriatic Arthritis Foundation, she suffered with this horrific disease for 40 some years.
Sally's family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone for all they prayers, acts of kindness, and the love shown and expressed during this time.
