Ruth Bauer

Ruth V. (Leh) Bauer, 91, widow of Theodore H. Bauer, formerly of East Greenville and Boyertown, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, in Manor Care Health Services - Pottstown.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by her three sons, Theodore P. Bauer and his wife, Agnes of Bally, Douglas J. Bauer and his wife, Margaret Elaine of Boyertown and Jeffrey H. Bauer and his wife, Karen of Bally; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a son, Martin J. Bauer and a brother, Wilmer Leh.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with the Rev. Jane Kropa officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. A private burial will be held at Huff’s Union Cemetery, Alburtis.
