Roy Moll

March 31, 1936 — March 7, 2022

Roy L. Moll, of Red Hill, PA, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at his home surrounded by family. He was 85 years old. Born in Pennsburg, PA, he was the son of the late George R. and Mabel M. (Kulp) Moll.

Roy served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. After honorable discharge, he returned home and became a tool and die maker, working at numerous companies throughout his career.

He was a member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ where he served on consistory for eight years. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 184, the Marine Core League Triboro Detachment, and a former member of the Red Hill VFW.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and going to yard sales.

Surviving are his three children, Lisa Moll of Blandon, PA, Roy Moll and wife, Ellen of Sumneytown, PA. and Teresa Merkel of Blandon, PA; five grandchildren, Carolyn Moll and husband, Liam Carroll, Rebecca Merkel, Emily Moll, Lauren Merkel and Rianne Moll. He is also survived by a brother, George Moll and a sister, Dorothy Kulp.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Pennsburg UCC, 775 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073. A burial will follow in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery, East Greenville. Family and friends may visit with the family from 10 to 10:45 AM at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
