Roxanne G. Freed, 63, of Red Hill, passed away, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem.
Born in Allentown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harold C. and Pauline L. “Polly” (Yerk) Freed.
She was a 1972 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School.
She was the Bar Manager at the VFW #5954 in Red Hill for more than 20 years. Prior to that, she worked at Philco Ford in Lansdale for many years.
Roxanne was a member of the VFW #5954 and many area fire companies and social clubs. She enjoyed gambling. Roxanne’s hoagies will be missed by all that had the pleasure of eating one.
She is survived by step-sons, Christopher Weber, Skylar Weber and Jason Weber; her sister, Dawn E., wife of Kenneth E. Hauck, Jr.; niece, Ashley Williams; nephew, Eric Hauck; and an aunt, Grace Freed.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Rebecca Shanely officiating. Burial follows at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to an evening viewing, Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
