Gawronksi, Rosemary (nee Cosenza), 70, widow of Joseph G. Gawronski, of Harlesyville, passed into eternal life on October 10, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Adamo and Mary (Belmonte) Cosenza.
Rosemary was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and Gwynedd Mercy University. She was an elementary school teacher for the Philadelphia Archdioceses for 17 years. She later worked as an auditor for a credit card company and raised her sons.
Rosemary enjoyed reading mystery stories and the comic strips in the newspaper, cats and dogs and watching classic black and white movies, and was excellent with trivia questions. One of her favorite authors was Mary Higgins Clark.
Surviving are her two sons, John Gawronski and wife, Laurren and David Gawronski and fiancée, Amber; three brothers, Anthony Cosenza and wife, Marlene, Donald Cosenza and wife, Peggy and Joseph Cosenza and wife Dottie; her sister, Anna Marie, wife of William Knowles; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Peter Cosenza.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike Lansdale, PA, 19446. A burial will follow at St. John Neumann’s Cemetery, Chalfont. There will be a viewing from 9:30 am to 11 am at the church prior to the mass.
