Rose E. Beard, 91, widow of William H. Beard, formerly of the Upper Perkiomen Valley, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Golden Living of Lansdale.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late John and Julia (Poppel) Paulson.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lansdale.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Sandra, wife of Roger Frederick of Duncan, SC, Donna Hoch of Quakertown and Gayla, wife of James Boyer of Sellersville and her 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Along with her parents she is predeceased by a son, John H. Beard and 6 brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with the Rev. Troy Gehman, Pastor of Calvary Baptist of Lansdale officiating. Interment follows in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Pennsburg.
