Roberta E. “Jean” Blakemore, 86, widow of Ralph A. Blakemore, Sr., of Quakertown, PA died on January 25, 2010 in Belle Haven Nursing Home, Quakertown, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Patton) Skidmore.
She was a loving wife, mother and sister.
Surviving are 3 sons, Robert Blakemore of Texas, Ted Blakemore of Orlando, Florida and Ralph A. Blakemore, Jr. of Telford, PA; a brother, Ernie Skidmore of Coopersburg, PA; 2 sisters, Ann Heath of Quakertown, PA and Betty Collins of Georgia. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a daughter, Doris and a son, David.
A funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA with the Rev. Dr. Fred J. Bartholomew, Pastor of Locust Valley Chapel, Coopersburg, PA officiating. Interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
