Robert L. Schultz, 82, widower of Doris J. (Spencer) Schultz, of Zionsville, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
Born in Zionsville, he was a son of the late Wilbur S. and Carrie A. (Stahl) Schultz.
Robert was a 1954 graduate of East Greenville High School and was a truck driver for Triple A Trucking for most of his career retiring after many years.
He was a longtime member of Bethany E.C. Church of Clayton in Barto and a member of Stahls Pottery.
He was also on the board of directors for Milford Bible Camp.
Robert enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are his two children, Bonnie L., wife of Larry Derr of Zionsville and Richard L. Schultz and wife, Judith of Zionsville; two grandchildren, Aaron T. Derr and wife, Kelsey and Amanda M. Schultz; two great-granddaughters, Emma and Elizabeth Derr; and two sisters, Martha, wife of husband, Rev. Donald Metz and Doris, wife of Rev. Ronald Heim.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by two brothers, John and Herbert Schultz and a sister, Louise Dotterer.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Dennis Brubacher officiating. A burial in Salem United Methodist Cemetery will follow the service. Friends and family are invited to a viewing the evening before the service on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home and again on Friday morning from 10:30 to 11 AM prior to the service.
