Robert Henry Robinson Jr., 62, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2013 at his home in Pennsburg, PA.

He was born January 11, 1951 in Medina, NY, a son of Robert and Evelyn (Bosley) Robinson.

Rob was a Veteran of the United States military, who retired from the U. S. Air Force in 1992 after honorably serving his country for 22 years.

Robert found his true love and married Sabrina Marie (Suire) in 1983 and together they spent almost 30 happily married years together.

Rob enjoyed life and had many hobbies and interests. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting, shooting, and camping. Rob was actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America serving as a Unit Commissioner. He was also a licensed ham radio operator and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Graduating in 1991 from Southern Illinois University Carbondale; receiving a degree in Industrial Technology. After retiring from serving in the military, his career included a supervisor position for Unisys and culminated as a supply chain planning analyst for Ricoh Corporation where he had worked for five years. He was a dynamic team member and a beloved co-worker who will be missed.

Rob’s passion for life was best shown in his love for his family and friends. Nothing gave him more joy than to spend time with the people that he loved. Even though his children lived miles away, he would travel frequently to visit and his pride gave his children and grandchildren the strength to succeed in life. Although Rob is gone, he will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his wife Sabrina; his son Richard Robinson and wife Suzanne of Spokane, WA.; his daughter Michelle Dunn and husband Jason of Litchfield, ME.; his daughter Sandy Singleton and husband Aaron of Cabot, AR.; his mother Evelyn Robinson of Henderson, NV.; his siblings Lynda Crandall, Fred Robinson, Jim Robinson, Sally Martinez, Sybil Robinson, and Katherine Robinson; and the lights of his life, his grandchildren, Gabriel, Torre, and Ava Robinson; Ashley, Jason and Paityn Dunn; Lauren, Justin, and Madison Garand, and Tate and Tanner Singleton; his beloved dog, Zoe; also, numerous extended family and close friendships.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at 3:00 pm on Wednesday January 30, 2013 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 East Greenville, PA. There will be a viewing from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
