Robert (Bob) A. Nester, Sr., 75, of Sassamansville, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in East Greenville, PA, he was the son of the late Wilson and Oleda (Weller) Nester.
Bob was a 1964 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and was employed for over 30 years at Pillsbury in East Greenville as an industrial mechanic.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. He also enjoyed his time watching Fox News and was a fan of the Phillies and the Eagles; especially when they beat the Dallas Cowboys.
Surviving are, his companion, Doi Peterson; three children, Stacy Kulp and husband, Gordon of Gilbertsville, Hope Rickert and husband, Adam of Quakertown and Robert Nester, Jr. and fiancé, Tawana of Lansdale; nine grandchildren, Alyssa Kulp and fiancé, Colby Davis, Matt Kulp and wife, Ally, Nathan, Ben and Alex Troche, Desiree Nester, Destiny Nester and fiancé, Walter Nelson, and Adrianna and Izzy Nester; seven great-grandchildren, Riley J., Logan K., Xavier R., Riley T., Anthony T., Vanessa T. and Hazel T.; and his siblings, Grace Stull and husband, Richard of Barto and William Nester and wife, Carole of Pennsburg. He was predeceased by brothers, Wilson “Jr” Nester and Irwin “Sonny” Nester.
