Robert L. Little, 88, formerly of Zieglerville, PA passed away on February 14, 2023 at Peter Becker Community where he was residing. He was the widower of Doris A. (Wigg) Little, who passed away in April 2020.
He was born in Obelisk, PA to the late Robert E. and Rose E. (Gilberg) Little. He was a graduate of the former Schwenksville High School. Bob helped his dad in the family business right out of high-school selling ESSO gasoline and then selling Willy’s Overland Jeeps. His responsibilities evolved to becoming a co-owner of the family business, a John Deere Dealership known as Robert E. Little, Inc. in 1975 and then retired in 1996.
After retirement, he spent his time fishing from Canada to the Gulph of Mexico. He loved restoring and collecting antique motor cars and showing his antique motor cars; especially his four 1912 Little Motor cars.
He was a member of Peace In Zion UCC in Zieglerville, PA. Bob was also a member of the Warren Lodge #310 F&AM, Collegeville, PA; Antique Automobile Club of America; Vintage Chevrolet Club of America; and Pottstown Antique Automobile Club.
Surviving are three sons: Timothy R. Little and wife Laurie, of Zieglerville; Michael F. Little and wife Diane, of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; David L Little and wife Jo, of Perkiomenville; brother, Paul Little and wife Nancy, of Zieglerville, brother-in-law John E. Grater (Jack) of Zieglerville; grandchildren: Jennifer Miracola and husband Charlie; Laura Mattiuz and husband Chris, Justin Little and wife Becky; and Emily Little; five great-grandchildren: Riley, Alex, Autumn, Lucas and Amelia and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters: Bonnie Little and Doris Grater.
Viewings will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA from 6-8 PM with a Masonic Funeral Service conducted by Warren Lodge #310 F&AM. Second viewing will be on Saturday at Peace in Zion UCC, 204 Big Rd. Zieglerville, PA 19492 from 9:30-10:30 AM. A Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 AM officiated by Rev. Barbara Pence. Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories Limerick, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Peace in Zion UCC at the above address.
