Robert J. Anthony, Sr., 64, husband of Deborah A. (Slonaker) Anthony, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in his home.
Born in Camden, NJ, he was a son of the late Vernell and Eleanor (Geise) Anthony.
Robert was known as a practical joker and could fix anything. He had a talent for small engine repair and working on tractors, but especially loved spending time with his family and playing cards each evening.
He also enjoyed building train models.
He worked as the manager at the Liquor store for many years.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are 8 children, Tina Torres of Pennsburg, Robert J. Anthony, Jr. and wife, Lucinda of Lehighton, John E. Anthony of Perryville, Pam M. Frazier of Schwenksville, Adam L. Anthony of St. Petersburg, FL, Timothy S. Anthony and wife, Courtney of Barto, and Eric M. Anthony and Travis J. Anthony, both of East Greenville; a brother, Charles E. Anthony and wife, Carolee of Murrels Inlet, SC and eleven grandchildren, Tyler, Zach, Sami, Lexi, Dillon, Salina, Hailey, Leah, Weston, Jasmine and Brianna.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by a daughter, Christine M. Weiner and his mother-in-law, Eva Slonaker.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville. A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
