Rita M. (Wisdo) Wydra, 81, wife of Walter W. “Chuck” Wydra for 63 years, of Pennsburg died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA.
Born in Shamokin, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Martha (Yoka) Wisdo.
She was employed as a Project Manager for Telford Garden Apartments for 40 years retiring in 2005.
Surviving along with her husband, are four children, Bonita M. DeLong and husband, Allan of Hamburg, William W. Wydra, Sr. and wife, Connie of Ashland, Deborah Wydra of Ashland and Denise Zukowski and husband, Frank of Pennsburg; a sister, Barbara Puketza and husband, Tom of Ashland; a brother, Frank Wisdo and wife, Kathy of North Carolina; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A grandson, Keith Richards, a granddaughter, Prisethane Wydra and a sister, Theresa Bucher predeceased her.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Susan Lynch, Interim Pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sumneytown officiating. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
