Richard D. Shewell, III
Richard Donald Shewell, III, 41, loving husband of Sabina C. (Rigow) Shewell, of Pennsburg, died Tuesday, June 1st in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Richard D. Shewell Jr. and his wife, Deborah of Pennsburg; and Diane (Sturgeon) Keiser and her husband, Steven of Alburtis.
He was employed by Ches-Mont Disposal, Skippack. He was a loving husband and father to his children. He will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting and was always the life of a party.
Surviving along with his wife, are two sons, Rhett and Wyatt Shewell of Pennsburg; three daughters, Ashley Shewell of Topton, Kirsten Shewell of Temple and Emily Shewell of Pennsburg; a grandmother, Mildred Shewell of Beaufort, NC; a mother-in-law, Rose Rigow of Pennsburg; a brother, Richard Shewell, IV of New Mexico; two sisters, Sharon Shewell of Pennsburg and Tess Shewell and companion, James Adams of Milton, Del.; a step-brother, Christopher Miller of Pottstown; two step-sisters, Deborah Shewell and Alysha Shewell of Pennsburg; a sister-in-law, Barbara Simpson and husband, Donald and daughters, Briana and Samantha of Texas; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12 noon, Saturday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville with Rev. Charles H. Eiss, Jr. officiating.
