Richard “Dick” Frederick, 73 of Green Lane died in his home on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Husband to Faye, for 29 years, father of 6, grandfather to 11, great grandfather to 2.
Born in Sumneytown, PA to the late Franklin M. and Arlene M. (Reed) Frederick. Throughout his life, he was employed by Knoll, Inc., Swagger Pant Factory and Kleinbach Sons, Inc. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown, PA. He loved antiquing, hunting, spending time with his family and his dog “Buddy”.
Surviving are his wife, Faye; 6 children, Robin Iman and husband, James of Pennsburg, Darrin Frederick and wife, Laura of New York, Jason Frederick and wife, Sharon of Pennsburg, Rebecca Coburn of Pennsburg, Deborah Mensch and husband, John of Limerick, and Vicky Coburn of Pennsburg; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Sandra Umstead and husband, Russ of Green Lane, and Sheilah Pierce, widow of David of Pennsburg

Richard was predeceased by his first wife, Beatrice I. Frederick, and sister, Beverly Frederick.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3104 Main Street Sumneytown, PA. Burial follows in Frieden’s Union Cemetery, Sumneytown, PA. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
