Richard Dierolf, formerly of East Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Warrington. He was 68 years old. He was born in Sellersville to the late Clarence and Fredericka (Sell) Dierolf.
Richard was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pennsburg, The Owls in East Greenville, the East Greenville Fire Co., the Red Hill VFW and a former member of the Red Hill Fire Police. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos.
Surviving are his brothers, Clarence Dierolf and wife, Rita of Hellertown and John Dierolf and wife, Deborah of Palm; a sister, Diane Holcomb and husband, Scott of East Greenville; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Charles Dierolf; sister, Barbara Hansen; step-brother, John Duffy; and step-sister, Mary Knitter.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. A burial will follow in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pennsburg. A viewing will be held from 10 to 10:45 AM prior to the service.
