Reuben Moser

October 30, 1946 — January 24, 2016

Reuben R. “Dutch” Moser, 69, of East Greenville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital. He was the husband of Darlene A. (Young) Moser celebrating 48 years of marriage on July 29, 2015.

Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of Ruth E. (Fosbenner) Moser Stoudt of Pennsburg and the late Russell Moser.

Dutch was a 1964 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Marines.

He worked as a project manager and estimator for Universal Industrial Group in Telford for several years before retiring. He also worked as the production manager at Mrs. T’s Pierogies for 5 years and he had worked 35 years at Pillsbury/General Mills in East Greenville and Allentown, as well as many other locations in the U.S. and several jobs abroad including a 6 month period in England.

He was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pennsburg.

Dutch was a past President, PA State Director, and 1st JC International Senator for UP Jaycees; Past President East Greenville Fire Co; Past Commander and Life Member American Legion Post#184; Past Member Lions Club; and Life Member NRA.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, his children, Todd M. Moser, companion of Tara Kile of East Greenville and Melissa L., wife of Scott Kriebel of Boyertown; 4 grandchildren, Todd M. Moser, Jr., Kyle A. Moser, Mackenzie Kriebel and Hayley Kriebel and a great granddaughter, Keegan Moser.

A visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 81 N. Main Street, Pennsburg PA with the Rev. Charles E. Romanowski officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA.
