Raymond W. Pierson, 68, of East Greenville died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. He was the loving husband of Kathryn R. Pierson married 48 yrs on November 2nd.
Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late William and Mary (Smalis) Pierson.
He worked as a Pump Mechanic and Field Supervisor for Miller Pump Systems, Inc. for over 46 years last working in 2006. He was a Master Plumber, a member of the NRA, loved fishing, hunting, gardening, hard working, known as a family oriented man and would do anything for anyone he could help.
Surviving along with his wife are two sons, Scott A. Pierson of Doylestown and Andrew W. Pierson and wife, Sharon of Boyertown; five grandchildren, Lindsay, Daniel, Gregory, Seth and Bryce; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, William Pierson.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville with Pastor Ronald Mioni officiating. Interment will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories. A viewing will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
