Rachael A. (Yerger) Henry, 94, widow of Herman A. Henry, of Sellersville, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge in Sellersville.
Born in Pennsburg, PA, she was the daughter to the late Fred and Annie (Bauer) Yerger.
Rachael was a seamstress at Stauffer Manufacturing for many years until her retirement. Prior to that, she worked at Keystone Transformer and was a cook for Cab Frey’s Restaurant.
She was a long time member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where she was a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She also volunteered her time with the church breakfast and bingo. She was an avid bowler, bingo player and baker and enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
Surviving are her children, Richard J. Henry, Sr. and wife, Kathy of East Greenville, Francis E. Henry and wife, Rosemary of Red Hill, Linda A., wife of Peter Frank of East Greenville and Susan M. Quigley, widow of Michael of Bally; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; a brother, Irwin M. Yerger of Pennsburg and a sister, Rita Latshaw, widow of Kenneth of Pennsburg.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Burial follows in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
