Preston P. Hoffman, 77, husband of the late of June E. (Roeder) Hoffman of Perkiomenville, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Life Quest, Quakertown.
Born in Hereford Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late Wayne and Annie (Meitzler) Hoffman.
He worked as a Foreman of production for 38 years, retiring in 1998, from Keller’s Creamery, Harleysville.
He was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ and East Greenville Fire Company.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Harold Fetterman, East Greenville, Bonita “Bonnie” wife of Willard Hacker, East Greenville, Margaret Hoffman fiancé of Clinton Liskey, Pennsburg, and Jacqueline wife of John Lynch, Perkiomenville; brother, Earl Hoffman and his wife, Barbara, Alburtis; sister, Edith wife of Robert Rothrock, Seisholtzville; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Wayne Hoffman and a granddaughter, Jennifer Hacker.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville. Burial will follow in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery, East Greenville. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home.
