Paul C. Oschwald, 78, of Pennsburg, died December 17, 2011 at home with his family. He was the husband of Nida S. (Sinclair) Oschwald celebrating 30 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Clinton J. and Ruth E. (Roeger) Oschwald.
Paul was an honorary graduate of Upper Darby High School but graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy in 1951 and the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business in 1955.
He was a Retired Lt. Colonel of the US Air Force. He was a B-47 pilot for 4 years of active duty and spent 24 years in the reserves.
Surviving along with his wife are three children, Carol L. Fisher and husband, Philip of Doylestown, Lynda S. Pitcherella and husband, Thomas of Romansville, David P. Oschwald of Collegeville, and two step-daughters, Jennifer Odenwald and husband, James of Telford and Kimberly B. Coulson and husband, Shaun of Pittsburgh, and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, Palm, PA with the Rev. Nick Pence officiating. Following the service a luncheon will be held at the Church Fellowship Hall.
