Patricia B. DeRusso

Patricia B. DeRusso, formerly of Pennsburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Doylestown Hospital at the age of 87.

After graduating from Havertown High School in 1955, Patricia dedicated 23 years of her life to the Lower Merion School District, where she safely transported countless children as a school bus driver before retiring. Known for her warm smile and caring nature, Patricia touched the lives of many students and colleagues with her kindness and dedication. Patricia was also a cherished member of the Milford Senior Center and found joy in simple pleasures like playing bingo and Pinochle with her friends. Patricia's greatest joy, however, came from her family. She adored her daughter Michele Pugh and husband, Ken; and was a proud and loving grandmother to Adam Grauch and wife, Jessica, Lia Grauch-Lalli and husband, Mike, and Joshua Grauch and wife, Amber; and great-grandmother to Allison and Luella Grauch. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home with a burial following in St. Aloysius cemetery in Pottstown. A viewing will begin at 10 AM. 

Patricia loved animals so in lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Rd, Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
