Naomi M. (Gerhart) Leber, 101, widow of Clifford F. Leber, of Souderton and formerly of East Greenville, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Souderton Mennonite Home.
Born in East Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Wilson and Sallie (Hallman) Gerhart.
She retired from the former Perkiomen Knitting Mill in East Greenville where she folded clothing.
Naomi was a lifelong member of the former Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church of Red Hill and was a charter member of the church at Souderton Mennonite Home. She was a member of the Perkiomen Chapter #318 Order of Eastern Star and the Order of the Amaranth.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Joanne L., wife of Carl Ritter of Coopersburg and Robert W. Leber and wife, Donna of Quakertown; 4 grandchildren, Karen, Kathy, Steven, and Kelly; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a great-grandson, Steven Leroy Leber.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Souderton Mennonite Home, 207 W. Summit Street, Souderton, PA 18964 with Rev. Mark Detwiler officiating. Burial will be private at Palm Schwenkfelder Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 am Wednesday at Souderton Mennonite Home.
